Your Donations Going To Help Save Haiti
Our amazing program gave visitors the chance to donate and help save lives in Haiti. Help rebuild people’s homes that were destroyed in the recent earthquake. For the past two weeks since we’ve opened we have taken $3 from every Avatar application and put it aside to donate to the ‘Save The Children Organization’ that is doing an amazing job in Haiti right now. http://www.savethechildren.org/

In the evening of January 12, just a few short minutes after the earthquake struck that shook Haiti to its core, Save the Children staffers already on the ground began providing shelter to the organization’s neighbors, children, diplomats and other NGO staffers. As daylight broke the next day, Save the Children resumed its rescue efforts and immediately sent for additional backup and supplies after surveying the severe damage: buildings in ruin, people digging for loved ones and injured victims suffering from overwhelming shock. The following are images of the last seven days, as Save the Children labored to restore order to a fallen country and ease its citizens’ distress. There are over 2 million people that live poorly in the area where the earthquake struck, many lives have been lost, far too many to count right now, we as a human race need to stand up and help eachother out.
